RGC Centre for the Advancement of Best Practices

The RGC Centre for the Advancement of Best Practices (CABP) promotes the identification and adoption of best practices to reduce the incidence of problem gambling.

What CABP does:

  • Conducts research and identifies best practices in responsible gambling, problem gambling prevention and harm minimization
  • Leads research that supports decision makers in identifying, adopting, strengthening and evaluating practical measures to inform policy and practice with the latest industry research
  • Brings together perspectives from regulators, problem gambling specialists, gaming providers, researchers and gamblers themselves to better understand and solve gambling-related problems
  • Researches, develops, strengthens and publishes independent best practice standards for responsible gambling initiatives that inform RG Check, the most rigorous responsible gambling accreditation program in the world
  • Applies a unique combination of experience, collaboration, expertise and research rigour to client projects
