We welcome your feedback on any of the content in Newscan. If you would like us to consider your letter for inclusion in a future issue, here are some general guidelines:

Do

• Keep your letter within 500 words. (We reserve the right to edit for length, without compromising meaning or intent.) 
• Keep your letter relevant to the topic
• Be civil and respectful

Don’t

• Use racist, sexist, or offensive language
• Make defamatory statements or attack others personally
• Make false or unsubstantiated allegations
• Make threats, suggest committing a criminal act, or encourage others to commit a criminal act
• Violate or infringe upon the rights of others, especially their right to privacy
• Promote commercial products or services
• Solicit charitable or other donations
• Post spam, junk mail, chain letters, or anything containing a virus or other harmful component

About You

Letters to the Editor that are selected to appear in Newscan must include your occupation and your country. Other information will only be included with your explicit consent.
