Awareness & Education

RGC produces world-class awareness and education programs that reach young people in a variety of settings with targeted, meaningful and engaging content. In 2016-2017, GAME BRAiN, Know the Score 2 and Stop the Chase educated youth in high schools, colleges, universities and online, thanks to a long-term partnership with the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.

RGC engages gambling customers where they are. Specifically, programs are delivered in Slots & Casinos and Charitable Bingo & Gaming Centres across Ontario. The PlaySmart Centre program (formerly the Responsible Gaming Resource Centre) is funded by OLG, Problem Gambling Prevention Week by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-term Care.

Expertise & Influence

RGC promotes the adoption of improved gambling safeguards through best practices research, standards development and an accreditation program, as well as custom projects for a wide range of customers. This work is achieved by building expertise, sharing knowledge, listening to all perspectives and encouraging excellence.

RGC also connects with partners and stakeholders of all kinds, including people with firsthand experience with gambling problems, gaming providers, regulators, policy makers, researchers, and treatment and prevention professionals.
